The Chandler CofE Aided Junior School has a Church of England religious character, which contributes to the ethos and values of the school community.

The school educates mixed pupils aged 7 to 11. It currently has 292 pupils on roll with space for 360, offering a broad curriculum across all primary year groups.

The most recent Ofsted inspection, published on 10 January 2023, rated the school Outstanding. Inspectors highlighted the overall quality of education and the strong relationships between staff and pupils.
