St Mary's Church of England Infant School has a Church of England religious character, which contributes to the ethos and values of the school community.

The school educates mixed pupils aged 4 to 7. It currently has 178 pupils on roll with space for 180, offering a broad curriculum across all primary year groups.

The most recent Ofsted inspection, published on 8 February 2023, rated the school Outstanding. Inspectors highlighted the overall quality of education and the strong relationships between staff and pupils.
