St John the Evangelist CofE Infant and Nursery School has a Church of England religious character, which contributes to the ethos and values of the school community.

The school educates mixed pupils aged 3 to 7. It currently has 188 pupils on roll with space for 180, offering a broad curriculum across all primary year groups.

Ofsted last inspected the school on 11 March 2025, awarding it a Good rating. The report noted positive aspects of leadership, safeguarding and the school’s approach to pupil development.
