Prestbury CofE Primary School has a Church of England religious character, which contributes to the ethos and values of the school community.

The school educates mixed pupils aged 3 to 11. It currently has 337 pupils on roll with space for 315, offering a broad curriculum across all primary year groups.

The most recent Ofsted inspection, published on 25 February 2020, rated the school Outstanding. Inspectors highlighted the overall quality of education and the strong relationships between staff and pupils.
