Our Lady and St Anselm's Roman Catholic Primary School, Whitworth has a Roman Catholic religious character, which contributes to the ethos and values of the school community.

The school educates mixed pupils aged 4 to 11. It currently has 204 pupils on roll with space for 210, offering a broad curriculum across all primary year groups.

The most recent Ofsted inspection, published on 12 March 2024, rated the school Outstanding. Inspectors highlighted the overall quality of education and the strong relationships between staff and pupils.
