Long Whatton Church of England Primary School and Community Centre has a Church of England religious character, which contributes to the ethos and values of the school community.

The school educates mixed pupils aged 4 to 11. It currently has 94 pupils on roll with space for 105, offering a broad curriculum across all primary year groups.
